Planting day for Walkway

If you have the time, could you possibly note that there is a planting day on Wednesday 10th. Andrew Jenks of HELP, in association with Waihi Walkways, is coordinating a day when schoolchildren and adults are invited to join together to enhance a little piece of Waihi.

The southern bank of the Ohinemuri River, on the right as one heads out of town toward Tauranga, will be planted by volunteers.

Enthusiasts are invited to park at Heath Road and join in the fun. Bring your favourite spade and a sense of fun.

Starting at 10.30am.

Alternatively, if you are an indoor sort of person, many community groups, including Waihi Walkways, will be on display at the War Memorial Hall.
